Fees and Payment Information

Payment can be made via cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.  Payment is due at the time of the session. A fee may be charged for missed appointments or same-day cancellations. 

Fees for psychological servies may be wholly or partially covered by Blue Cross, extended health care insurance plans, private health spending accounts, or employee assistance plans (EAP). Each plan is different, so I recommend that you check with you individual plan to learn more about whether you have coverage, and how much coverage you have. 

I am registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists as a Provisional Psychologist. I will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurer to receive reimbursement. Some extended health care plans require my registration number. If you are making an inquiry to your insurance company, you may need to know that a member, in good standing, with the following associations,

Additionally, please note that fees for psychological services are tax deductible as a health expense.

The current fee schedule is recommended by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta.

Fee Schedule As of January 1, 2009

Group Therapy: $60 (per person)

Individual Therapy Session (50 minute session): $170

Individual Therapy Session (75 minute session): $255

Consultation/Corporate Service: $800 (half day)

Consultation/Corporate Service: $1600 (full day)
